On-site Registration will only be accepted in cash and in Euros, but issuing the receipts may be delayed.

    Students and PhD students applying for reduced fee should send by e-mail a letter to Prof. Ana Maria Oliveira Brett from the supervisor and a scanned copy of their university student card.

    Payments must be made in Euros (EUR), which must be free of any bank handling charges, through a bank transfer or VISA.

    You must log at Personal Area and follow the website rules.

    In order to enable us to identify your payment, please send by e-mail a copy of your payment documentation, to the Symposium Secretariat: analitica14@qui.uc.pt. Remember to use the reference "SPQ-Analítica-2014 – First Name and Surname", and include, when appropriate, the attached files:
    • proof of SPQ/RSEQ membership,
    • for students and PhD students applying for reduced fee, a letter from the supervisor and a scanned copy of the university student card.

    » Important information

    Insurance

    Registration fee does not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Symposium SPQ-Analítica-2014 and book your travel you take out the insurance policy of your choice.
    The Secretariat cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin. It is also advisable that participants be covered by medical insurance.



    Liability

    Please be aware that SPQ-Analítica-2014 will not accept any liability for travel and health accidents or injury occurring to delegates while attending and travelling to or from the SPQ-Analítica-2014 conference. It is the participant’s responsibility to organize their own personal travel and health insurance.



    Permission for Personal Data Collecting/Processing

    Participants agree to the collection, storage and use of their personal information contained in the registration form by the SPQ-Analítica-2014 organization for the sole purpose of processing registration requirements for the SPQ-Analítica-2014 meeting and for sending electronic messages. This agreement will not exceed 5 years and can be cancelled at any time upon request. Summarized data from the registration forms may be used by the organization for statistical purposes and for internal use.



    Registration Form

    Please be aware of the procedure to register for SPQ-Analítica-2014. Following the guidelines will improve the efficiency at all organizational levels. Thank you for your collaboration. First of all, you must register in the SPQ-Analítica-2014 on-line registration platform. After registering, you will receive an e-mail at the address provided on the form with confirmation of the registration and your password. If you do not receive any e-mail message, please contact SPQ: eventos@spq.pt.

    Once registered, you will have access to your SPQ-Analítica-2014 Personal Area. There you can update your personal information, finish the registration process with payment of the registration fees and submit your abstract(s). Updating your submission(s) is available at any time until the abstract submission deadline. If you do not receive any e-mail with the confirmation of abstract submission, please contact SPQ: eventos@spq.pt.

    The SPQ-Analítica-2014 management platform is prepared for online invoice emission. Therefore, please be careful with the identification of the institution, address and VAT number, in order to avoid possible errors during the invoice emission process. After payment on-line, you should send a confirmation document to the Symposium Secretariat. You will also receive a message by e-mail confirming payment. If you do not receive such a message in a period of a few days, please contact the Secretariat. After identifying the payment, an on-line receipt will be emitted.

    Payments on site may be accepted in special situations, in cash and in Euros, but issuing the receipts may be delayed.



    Cancellation/Refund Policy

    The Symposium Secretariat must be notified by a written and signed letter (sent by e-mail attachment) for complete registration cancellation. Cancellation conditions are:
    • €10 will be withheld for administrative costs if the request is received before
    • March 1st, 2014. Be aware, however, that all possible bank charges incurred for this reimbursement will be added to the €10 amount.
    • 50 % of the paid fee will be withheld for administrative costs if the request is received from March 15th, 2014, to April 1st, 2014.
    • No refund for cancellation requests received after April 1st, 2014.
